Composite Software Selected By BMC Software for OEM Relationship

Embedded EII Capabilities Will Extend Federation, Virtualization for Business Service Management

SAN MATEO, Calif.  – August 22, 2005 – Composite Software, the Enterprise Information Integration (EII) leader, announced today that BMC Software® has licensed the Composite Information Server™ for incorporation into BMC Software products, including BMC® Performance Manager and BMC Atrium™.  The announcement marks another significant OEM relationship for Composite Software and underscores the broad applicability of EII.

BMC Software products help businesses align IT operations to directly support critical business objectives, a strategy known as Business Service Management.  The relationship with Composite will benefit BMC Software customers by improving their visibility and performance in large-scale environments:  Complex organizations face a landscape of disparate technology, internal and outsourced, across geographies and business units, assembled over time.  Effective Business Service Management requires a consolidated, real-time view across the entire landscape for planning, reporting, impact analysis, and end-user service delivery.
