COMPOSITE SOFTWARE CEO JIM GREEN TO ADDRESS
THE URGENT NEED FOR CHANGE AT SOFTWARE 2004 CONFERENCE
San Francisco, Calif. - March 1, 2004 -
Composite Software, a leading provider of enterprise information
integration software, today announced that the company's CEO,
Jim Green will take part in a CEO panel that will focus on what
software companies need to do to become successful in today's
market. The panel will take place at the Sand Hill Group's Software
2004 Conference and will be moderated by Tony Zingale, former
president and CEO of Clarify. Other participants will include
Julie Hanna Farris of Scalix, S Ramadorai of Tata Consultancy
Services, and Jeff Rodek of Hyperion. The panel will take place
on March 1, 2004 at 9 a.m. at the San Francisco Marriott hotel.
Green, a respected leader in the enterprise integration
market, plans to address the need for the software industry to
drive change that challenges existing assumptions, rethinks value
propositions and discovers a new path to profitability.
“Our traditional ways of operating are history,”
stated Green. “The path to future success is about doing
less, not more—in fact, most of it is free. But it does
require a commitment to change and quality that hasn't been prevalent
in the industry since its infancy.”
Designed specifically to address business, operating
and technology issues facing executives today, Software 2004 is
the first strategic conference for enterprise software leaders.
It is a vendor-neutral event that will bring together 1,000 CEOs,
VPs and VCs to re-invent the industry, re-think current practices
and make the critical changes needed to create successful organization
for the next 25 years.
"The software industry is alive and well but
new business models, customer buying patterns and technologies
are permanently changing the landscape,” said M.R. Rangaswami,
co-founder and managing director of Sand Hill Group. “Our
goal for Software 2004 is to provide our attendees with insight
from the most innovative and influential software leaders and
visionaries.”
