SAN MATEO, CALIF. — April 4, 2009 – Composite Software, Inc., the best-of-breed data virtualization leader, today announced its first Telecom, Media and Entertainment Enterprise Architects’ Forum, to be held Wednesday, April 22, from 11:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT at the Sofitel Philadelphia hotel in Philadelphia.

Featured keynote speakers include Sean J. Poccia, senior director of Information Services at Comag Marketing Group (CMG), a jointly owned subsidiary of Hearst Corporation and Conde Nast LLC; and Mike Fahey, worldwide chief technology officer (CTO) for Services and ISV Integration at Hewlett-Packard Company’s Business Intelligence Solutions (BIS).  The forum will consist of lunch, speaker presentations and a Q&A session.

Interested enterprise architects, project leaders and c-level technologists in the telecom, media or entertainment industries should RSVP by April 15 to Anne Fonger of Composite Software: afonger@compositesw.com; 919-528-9143.

Forum attendees will learn how data services-enabling technologies, such as those from Composite Software, have provided CMG with an agile and extensible data architecture to power business initiatives such as a single view of customer, operational efficiency and better information discovery and management.  In addition, attendees will learn some of the methodology and best practices for implementing their own successful deployments.

“Enterprises that implement data services in their data systems architectures have achieved lower total cost of ownership (TCO), something that is very important to companies in these tough economic times,” said Christian Nall, vice president, Field Operations, Composite Software.  “Our forum provides a venue for industry peers to learn how to strategically implement data virtualization into their information delivery systems.”
