The C4ISR Community is challenged to improve war fighter and intelligence effectiveness. The Federated approach to information sharing is a key strategy for achieving this goal. This is driving DOD and Intelligence Community CIOs, Enterprise Architects and business planners to leverage service-oriented architecture (SOA), and IT architecture that promises greater interoperability and data transparency.
The Service-Oriented Architecture Technical Symposium 2007 is designed to be a forum for participating agencies to share and review practical approaches to building federated SOA solutions for C2, ISR and Intelligence.
